Restitution Unit records, 1972-1980.

The records consist mainly of correspondence kept by Unit Director John McLagan and Victim Services Director Joseph Hudson, and studies and analysis conducted by Alternative Behaviors Associates, Inc. The correspondence documents the operation and funding of the department's restitution programs; the studies document a series of grants received by the Unit to develop innovative programs regarding restitution as a form of correction.
